Edmonton, Treaty 6 territory – On day three, Saturday April 9, 2023 at the Native Hockey Alberta Provincials, all three of our Kapawe’no Muskwak were in action.
Kapawe’no Muskwak U9 finished off strong and was presented with their medals and a banner for their great work. A lot of smiles as there was great strides toward excellence and having fun.
Kapawe’no Muskwak U11 won their game 6-4 against Saddle Lake Warriors, extending their playing time one more day.
“We played hard, it was back and forth action, we seem to just click good today”, said coach Cory Cardinal Jr.
Kapawe’no Muskwak U13 fell short in their effort to extend another day. Battling hard against Frog Lake finishing Saturday on the other end of a 5-2 action packed game.
A lot of growth and fun combined for a really great experience for all our teams.
