Kapawe’no First Nation – At Kapawe’no Nêhiyawak School students go back to the land to learn and in every way possible includes gun use and gun safety. While at the gun range the students practiced gun safety, muzzle control, “always treat a gun as if its loaded” was the teaching and message. The students also had a chance to learn different types of gun, sights, actions. and of course some target practice starting with the small cal .22 up to the classic 30-30. Great work students.
