Kapawe’no First Nation – It was only months ago when the Nêhiyawak cultural program flourished with now close to 11 drummers / singers advancing the students into a well round group.
They are learning to sing, drum and additionally the protocol that includes the respect of the drum. They have been part of our daily Nêhiyawêwin session being an essential part of our program.
Our Muskwak Juniors are working with their hand drums and the grandfather drum. As of late the grandfather drum has been of choice getting ready for future opening ceremonies and events.
