Kapawe’no First Nation – Marquise Alexander, a student at Kapaweno Nêhiyawak School / Buffalo Bay Academy has led his team to victory in the Canadian Raptors e-sports championship. His skills in the E-Sports NBA video game tournament captured national attention and brought pride to the school.
With their win, Marquise and his team have now earned a spot in the United States championship. This next level of competition presents an opportunity for the young athletes to showcase their talents on an international stage.
