Kapawe’no First Nation – The Buffalo Bay Academy’s 2023 volleyball season has come to a close, marking a period of remarkable growth. Athletic Director Mr Brian D. Thomas extends heartfelt thanks to Ms Aaron Courtorielle, Ms Sherry Bellegarde, and Ms Wendy Lamouche whose dedication and expertise have been pivotal in steering the team to success. The gratitude extends to the athletes and Mr. George Halcrow, along with the support staff, for their unwavering commitment and energy.
This year was a journey of discovery for the team, not just in mastering the game, but in learning the essence of teamwork and forming bonds that extend beyond the court. The challenges were many, ranging from rigorous practices and tournaments to managing injuries and prior commitments.
As the season unfolded, the girls together with their coaches laid a strong foundation for future success. Their collective efforts culminated in a season that was as successful as it was enriching.
Congratulations to all the players for their effort and for showcasing the true spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork. The volleyball season of 2023 at Buffalo Bay Academy was indeed a resounding success, setting a high bar for the years to come.
