Student Life at Kapawe’no First Nation School

Our student culture plays a key role in the experience at Kapawe’no First Nation School. We’ve created a safe and accessible environment where students are encouraged to discuss ideas, collaborate on projects, share their work and receive feedback with pride. We give students the foundation to reach their potential and gain confidence both academically and socially.

Our Student Chief and Council ensures student activities are aligned with the goals of Kapawe’no First Nation School and link to the Character Education traits of our Nation’s 15 Tipi Pole Teachings. In September 2021 our Character Education Trait is RESPECT (one of the first three tipi pole teachings).
